Abdel Fattah El Sisi issud a presidential decree on allowing Abu Bakr el Gendi to remain in office as the head of the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) for an additional year.

Gendi assumed this post as CAPMAS head in January 2005.
