Cairo - MENA
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi ordered the opening of the Egypt-Gaza Rafah terminal for another two days – Tuesday and Wednesday - on both directions to show solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza and ease their suffering.
The Egyptian authorities opened the terminal exceptionally on Saturday for three days.
Egypt had closed the terminal in the aftermath of a terror attack in North Sinai on October 24 that left several army men killed and injured.
It now reopens the terminal occasionally to allow stranded Palestinians home return.
