Abdel Fattah El Sisi's participation in a ceremony held to mark the Police Day was praised by a human rights group on Saturday.

"The president revived the Police Day in time to boost the morale of the whole police establishment," said the United National Organization for Human Rights in a press release.

During the ceremony, the president honored the families of police martyrs. He delivered a speech at the closing of the event on local and regional conditions.
