President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has said he is ready to be questioned by the Egyptians after a year in office.

This came on the sidelines of his inauguration of 39 projects in the fields of road construction, bridges, healthcare, agriculture, water and services.

The president said he met with political powers before he took office and explained to them the difficulties Egypt faces.

Sisi added that he asked all the Egyptians to back him and support him to meet the big challenges.

"We need stamina and effort to meet our ends," he said.
