President Abdel Fattah El Sisi visited on Thursday the headquarters of the General Intelligence Service (GIS) in Cairo, presidential spokesman Alaa Youssef said.
During his visit, Sisi held a meeting with the spy chief and leaders and members of the intelligence, the spokesman said, adding that he urged them to exert more efforts to maintain the security of homeland.
Also, the president discussed the regional developments and their impacts on the national security, the spokesman added.
