Skirmishes that erupted on Wednesday between Lebanese protesters and security forces are still ongoing as the demonstrators blocked off a road leading to the Martyrs' Square in Beirut.

Lebanese security forces are arresting those who attack them, urging the demonstrators not to use violence or break security barriers, the Interior Security Forces Directorate General said in a statement.

Meanwhile, You Stink Campaign says at least 25 protesters were detained and 10 injured in clashes with the security forces.
