A 22-year old policeman, who was killed in Sunday's attach in North Sinai, was laid to rest in his hometown in Sharqia governorate on Monday.

Thousands of people, including the governorate's top officials, took part in the funeral.

The mourners chanted anti-terror slogans, demanding revenge for the slain policeman.
