Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Defense Minister Sedqi Sobhi has inspected physical and military preparedness of Military Academy students and the new student of 112 army batch.

Sobhi congratulated the new students for joining the Armed Forces, after passing all tests.

He also said that the selection criteria included efficiency, resilience and full loyalty to Egypt and its people.

The minister also met with students of Military Academy from the various academic years.

He started the meeting with standing a moment of silence for the souls of Egypt's martyrs, who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the country's stability and security.

The Armed Forces are keen on building new generations that are capable of protecting homeland and defending it, he affirmed.
