Social Insurance Minister Ghada Wali said that the Egyptian government has kept an eye on the poor in all its decisions.
Wali is currently in New York for a UN Development Program conference on sustainable development. The conference was held to mark the 50th anniversary of the UNDP.
In exclusive statements to MENA, Wali said that she reviewed during the conference a package of social policies that were adopted by Cairo to alleviate poverty.
Wali added she also explained the aid provided by her ministry in the education and health fields.
