Socialist Party of Egypt

Socialist Party of Egypt warned Wednesday against sedition that could take place among the people because of the November 28 protests, called for by the Salafi Front.
The party urged all Egyptians to show solidarity with security forces in the face of the malicious attempts to stage demonstrations aimed at attacking the police and army troops and destabilizing the country.
The so-called Salafi Front is nothing but a gang of terrorists who threatened the people with staging a bloody Islamist uprising, and called on the youth of Takfiri movements to take to the streets on November 28 carrying weapons to clash with security forces, the party added.
Meantime, Media Spokesman for Salafist Al-Nour Party Nader Bakar said as many as 1,800,000 leaflets were distributed and 250,000 posters were stuck nationwide, renouncing extremism, violence, and the protests of November 28.
Bakar said the move came as part of his party's campaign to block the way before those who wanted to cause turmoil in the country.
The "Salafi Front" called for protests nationwide on Friday under the rubric "The Muslim Youth Uprising."
