A number of worshipers have been killed and others wounded in a suicide attack on a mosque in the Saudi city of al Qudayh in al Qatif province, the Saudi Interior Ministry said on Friday.

The injured were moved to hospital, a spokesman for the Interior Ministry said Friday.

Efforts are underway to arrest the perpetrators, the spokesman added.
