National Days in Bahrain

marking the Kingdom of Bahrain's celebrations of its National Days on December 16 and 17, marking the anniversary of the establishment of the modern state of Bahrain as an Arab and Muslim country in 1783 by its founder Ahmed Al-Fateh, the 42nd Anniversary of joining the UN as a full member and the 15th Anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's Accession to the Throne, Zayed Town Youth Center, in cooperation with the Southern Governorate and the General Organization for Youth and Sports, held a festive evening included a number of cultural, sport and entertaining activities, in addition to organizing an exhibition showcasing products of Bahraini productive families.
Pakistani Ambassador to Bahrain, Mohammad Saeed Khan, participated in the celebration along with representatives from Iraqi and Indian embassies.
Members of Iraqi, Indian and Pakistani communities took part in the event by presenting folkloric activities of their countries to share Bahrain's joy of celebrating the National Day.
