The spokesman for Libya's Operation Dignity on Monday denied reports that retired General Khalifa Haftar left the North African country for Saudi Arabia.
In press statements, Mohamed Hegazi added that clashes erupted in the eastern city of Benghazi on Monday between the Libyan army and fighters of the so-called Shura Council of Benghazi Revolutionaries.
"The clashes left 12 army personnel wounded," Hejazi said, adding that the fighters of the Shura Council were inflicted heavy losses in lives and equipment.
