State Council approves toughening up penalty on using suicide signs, drawings

The legislation department at the States Council approved during a meeting on Thursday under counselor Mahmoud Raslan a presidential draft law on amending some articles of the penal code.

According to the amendment, any person making, importing, promoting or using signs or drawings signaling terrorist groups will receive imprisonment sentences and pay a fine ranging between 10,000 and 30,000 pounds.
