The strange object, which was found earlier Tuesday at Tunis–Carthage International Airport, was nothing but a lighter, Tunisian Civil Aviation and Airports Authority's (OACA) spokesman Sami Thabet said.

The object was found in a luggage of a Libyan passenger coming from Mitiga City, and its shape was suspected to be a grenade, Thabet said.

Following checking the object, it turned to be just a lighter, he reiterated.
