Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al Jubeir asserted that the initiative of the Islamic States to participate in a coalition for combating terrorism and violence is a very important and unprecedented initiative.

The initiative aims at eradicating terrorism and fighting extremism, he said.

There is a strategic plan to activate the military Islamic coalition, Jubeir said in statements to the Saudi newspaper Al Jazeera during an official visit to Canada.
