Strict security measures were adopted at Rabaa square on Friday to stand up to calls of some terrorist groups to protest and commit violent acts.
The army deployed 13 military vehicles in Tayaran street and five others in Nasr street.
The army also deploy metal blocks with barbed wires in the areas surrounding the square to close it when needed.
