Alexandria Security Directorate stepped up security measures and prepared a plan to confront any anticipated violence during celebrations marking the fourth anniversary of the 25 January Revolution.
Assistant Interior Minister Ameen Ezz el Den underlined the need of dealing firmly with any attempts to use violence or spread chaos.
The security directorate also decided to activate its crisis operations to receive complaints and take immediate action toward any riot acts.
