A stun bomb went off on Friday near the main water plant in Belbis city in Sharqia governorate.
No damage or injuries were reported.
A team of bomb experts and civil protection forces rushed to the scene. The area of the blast was sealed off.
Also in Sharqia, another stun bomb was defused near a railway.
