Khartoum - MENA
Sudan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs denied Friday news reports about closing its embassy in Yemen.
"Such news is baseless," Ministry spokesman Yousif al Kordufani said, adding that the Sudanese embassy was functioning normally and providing services to its citizens.
Kordufani ruled out any possibility by his country to close its embassy in Sanaa, asserting that Sudanese expatriates there were safe.
Meantime, the spokesman dismissed rumors that the Sudanese embassy in Berlin was attacked by asylum seekers.
He added that ten asylum seekers wanted to meet with the consul, as they thought that their asylum bids were rejected because of the embassy.
