Sudanese Minister of Agriculture Ibrahim Adam asserted on Saturday that Egypt and his country "stand in same trench" against all challenges atop of which are terror and food security as well as water problems.

The minister's remarks came during a meeting of the Egyptian-Sudanese Agricultural Integration Company.

Adam offered condolences over the death of late prosecutor general Hisham Barakat and army personnel in North Sinai in terrorist attacks.

He expressed the solidarity of the Sudanese people with Egypt's people to uproot terrorism.
