Sudanese Foreign Minister Dr Ibrahim Ghandour stressed that his government did not receive any request from the UN Security Council to visit the country.

"We did not receive any request in this regard. If a Security Council delegation is willing to visit us, we need to know the reason, details and the schedule of this visit," said El Ghabdour in statements.

Meanwhile, the Sudanese foreign minister stressed that the African Committee in charge of briefing the Security Council on the African countries' position towards the International Criminal Court (ICC) is waiting for setting a date for the meeting.
