Khartoum - MENA
Sudanese Cabinet Affairs Minister Ahmed Saad Omer on Thursday asserted his country's keenness on promoting bilateral relations with Egypt.
Omer made his remarks in a meeting with Egyptian Ambassador to Sudan Osama Shaltout.
The Sudanese minister hailed as "historical" the two countries' relation, pointing out that it serves as a model to be followed in the African diplomacy.
Shaltout, for his part, stressed Egypt's support to the Sudanese national dialogue, expressing hope that security and stability would prevail in the neighboring Arab country.
