Sudanese President Omar Al Bashir on Monday received a verbal message from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, conveyed by the Saudi Foreign Minister Adil Al Jubair during a short visit to the country today.
The visiting Saudi Foreign Minister reviewed with the President the bilateral relations and means for developing them, beside reviewing regional and international issues, said the official SUNA news agency.
In statements following the meeting, Al Jubeir described the outcomes of his visit as positive and said that the two countries have identical views on the challenges that face the region.
He said he has reviewed with the President Al Bashir, a number of issues including regional and international issues such as the Palestinians question, Yemen, Somalia and Syria.
Sudan’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Professor Ibrahim Ghandour while underlining the depth of the Sudanese Saudi relations said the talks between the visiting Saudi minister and the President Al Bashir dealt with the political cooperation at the various levels including the bilateral, regional and international levels.
