President Omar Al-Bashir

Sudanese President Omar Bashir said Thursday that his country was ready to send 1,500 more Sudanese soldiers to Yemen.

Khartoum is committed to an effective contribution to efforts to restore legitimacy in Yemen and the Arab alliance forces, led by Saudi Arabia, achieve its targets, Bashir reiterated in an exclusive interview with Al Arabiya television commenting on the killing of the first Sudanese soldier in Yemen's Ta'iz.

In the meantime, the Sudanese president voiced deep concern about the interference of Iran in the internal affairs of Arab countries, asserting that Iranian cultural and missionary activities are banned in Sudan.
