A spokesman for the Sudanese government has said that the four freedoms agreement with Egypt will not be halted.

In statements to Al Siyasi newspaper, out Wednesday, Ahmed Belal Othman also denied news about evacuating Sudanese nationals from Egypt.

Pending problems with Egypt will not be solved through the media, rather through direct negotiations between the two governments, Othman stressed.

Sudan is capable, through the nicety of a diplomatic exchange, to solve all pending problems with Egypt, the spokesman said.

Diplomacy plays an important role in solving such problems, Othman noted.
