The Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Saturday summoned the ambassador of Jordan in Khartoum and regretted the negative tackling of the Jordanian media and the false information and hasty and unsuccessful statements attributed to the Jordanian Ambassador on the limited cases of cheating, SUNA reported on Sunday.
A limited number of Jordanian students were involved in the cases, by their use to advanced and complicated technology, a matter which rendered this issue as one of the serious informatics crimes.
The ministry has handed the Jordanian Ambassador an official memo of protest expressing its regret over the tackling of the Jordanian media to the issue.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also expressed its regret over the decision of the Jordanian Ministry of Education to cancel the certificates of all the Jordanian students who sat for the Sudanese Certificate exams.
The Jordanian Ambassador has denied the statements attributed to him and pledged to correct them via the Jordanian News Agency.
He expressed his confidence in the experiences of the Sudanese Ministry of Education, indicating that several of the Jordanian efficient cadres have undergone education and obtained certificates in Sudan.
