The Darfur Referendum Commission said Friday that any party wishing to monitor the April referendum will be welcomed.

Head of the commission Omar Ali told a local radio station that all preparations were completed to organize the three-day referendum in Darfur's five states.

Sudan will conduct a referendum in Darfur on April 11-13 over whether or not the region should remain divided into five states or reunite as one entity with a degree of autonomy.
