No more Egyptian survivors found

The Sudanese army found no survivors from 12 Egyptian fishermen who went missing after their boat sank off Sudan's shores, Spokesman for the Sudanese Armed Forces said.

On Saturday, an Egyptian boat drifted into the Sudanese territorial waters due to strong winds and sent an SOS signal before it sank.

The Sudanese coastal guards rescued two young fishermen and search operations for the other 12 were underway.

Brigadier Ahmed Khalifa told MENA that a Sudanese copter had aerial surveys all the day and returned back to Port Sudan Base.

Sudanese and Egyptian navy units are still searching for any survivors, he added.
