Consul General of Sudan in Aswan Ahlam Abdul Jalil on Saturday hailed distinguished relations between Khartoum and Cairo.

The consul has inaugurated an annual exhibition of Sudanese traditional handicrafts in cooperation with Aswan Branch of the National Council for Women (NCW).

The exhibition is being organized on the sidelines of the 60th anniversary of Sudan Independence celebrations.

The three-day exhibition is part of celebrations to be held in Cairo, Aswan and Alexandria, the consul said.
