Sudanese President Omar al Bashir has affirmed that his country is keen on promoting dialogue to preserve Sudan's unity as well as its political, social and economic stability.
He pointed out to holding a general conference for national dialogue in October 10.
These remarks came during a speech delivered by al Bashir on Eidul Adha where he greeted the citizens on this occasion.
He expressed hope that the Sudanese pilgrims would come back to their homeland safe and sound, hoping for achieving peace, security, stability and development.
The president further reiterated that maintaining national unity is a great aim amid the challenges facing the whole world, noting that the articles of Doha Document for Peace in Darfur were implemented.
Al Bashir offered greetings to the citizens in Syria, Yemen, Iraq and Somalia as well as the Palestinians who are being targeted by the Israeli occupation.
