The State Minister at the Ministry of Interior and leader of the United Umma Party, Babiker Ahmed Digna, has announced his party's support to the societal dialogue initiative which was declared by the President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir.
This came in a press statement he gave following his meeting Wednesday at the Council of Ministers with the Vice - President of the Republic, Hassabo Mohamed Abdul-Rahman.
Digna said that his party's support to the initiative emanates from its belief on the importance of the national dialogue for confronting the challenges facing the country.
He affirmed the keenness of the United Umma Part to any step for realizing the aspired national accord.
