Mustafa Osman Ismail, the political secretary of Sudan’s ruling National Congress Party, said on Sunday that the Khartoum government and the National Dialogue Mechanism will not take part in the Addis Ababa meeting with the opposition, due to be launched today in the Ethiopian capital to discuss the national dialogue.
In a press conference, Ismail said that they will not participate in the any meeting ahead of the the upcoming elections.
