Suez Customs Authority on Wednesday foiled an attempt to smuggle a large quantity of cosmetics coming from China.

The smugglers wanted not to pay the customs duties which were estimated at millions of Egyptian pounds.

The seizures have been confiscated and an investigation was opened, the source said.
