Suez Governor el Arabi el Serwi on Thursday inspected the governorate's tunnel of "Ahmed Hamdi" to follow up the security procedures.
The move was taken as part of preparations for the Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC), which kicks off Friday in Sharm El Sheikh.
Serwi praised the efforts exerted by Suez policemen to maintain security and protect citizens as well as facilities.
Meanwhile, the governor inspected work progress at a number of projects in the governorate.
