Suez Security Chief Maj. Gen. Tareq el Gazzar inspected on Friday the security measures on the Suez-Cairo road which leads to Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC) venue in Sharm el Sheikh town.
Security measures were tightened in the governorate with more forces deployed at vital areas and helicopters hovered over the governorate's remote areas, he said in statements on Friday.
Meanwhile, world leaders, heads of state, and executives of international companies have been arriving at the EEDC venue to take part in the three-day conference.
