Three suspects were arrested Tuesday over charges of robbing a jewelry shop in Qalubia's city of Tokh, north of Cairo.
Using weapons, five suspects stormed the jewelry shop in masks, and stole 800 grams of jewels and fled the scene after shooting the owner of the shop and security men.
Security forces identified the suspects, arrested three of them while the other two were still at large.
Faced by charges, the arrestees confessed their involvement and guided police for the stolen jewels.
The prosecution was notified for more interrogation.
