Syrian activists said that three persons died out of hunger in Madaya city that is besieged by the Syrian forces and militias of Lebanese Hezbollah Party.
Statistics show that more than 30 persons died in the city since the beginning of this month, Sky News channel quoted the World Food Programme (WFP) as saying on Saturday.
For its part, the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) said that cases of malnutrition were detected among children in Madaya, urging for stopping besieging the Syrian cities.
It also announced that more than four million Syrians live in besieged areas where aid can not reach it.
