Three people were killed and two others wounded as a result of a Syrian airstrike on a house in Al-Ajram neighborhood, Arsal town, northeast Lebanon on Monday, according to the National News Agency (NNA).
The Syrian Air Force has repeatedly targeted locations in the Lebanese border areas in the last three years under suspicion of providing shelter to Syrian gunmen who fled the fighting at home.
Arsal is located in a mountainous area spanning across the borders to the Syrian Al-Qalamun district, north Damascus, where fighting is raging between the regular troops and opposition forces.
