The Syrian army units launched strikes on sites used by el Nusra Front and Takfiri groups in Daraa district.

According to the state-run news agency, SANA, a unit bombed gatherings of militants and Takfiri elements in Bosra, a town in southern Syria.

Scores of el Nusra front members were killed in the attacks, SANA cited a military source as saying.

Almost a quarter of a million people were killed while millions displaced by the country's four-year-old civil war.
