The Syrian army launched on Tuesday wide-scale military operations against Daesh group in Homs city, killing and injuring scores of its fighters, a Syrian military source said on Tuesday.

The source added that two vehicles driven by terrorists belonging to al-Nusra Front were killed in the attack on Daraa el Balad district.
