The Syrian Arab Army captured the city of Yabroud in Qalamoun mountainous area near the border with Lebanon, on Sunday March 16, 2014. The city was held by terrorist groups from the "Free Syrian Army" (FSA) and al-Qaeda's al-Nusra Front. With this victory, the Syrian government is now in full control of areas adjacent to Lebanon, helping prevention of any weapons or supplies transportation by terrorists from the Lebanese territories into Syria.
