A Syrian infant froze to death on Monday in a refugee camp in Lebanon's border city of Arsal amid a snowstorm that struck the entire region this week, a medical source has said, according to World Bulletin.
Four-month-old Fatma al-Zein "died amid a severe snow snap that struck Lebanon," the source told reporters.
The latest fatality brings to ten the number of Syrians, including seven children, killed by the cold snap.
