The Lebanese security forces have arrested a Syrian national accused of providing militant groups with weapons in the northeastern border town of Arsal.

According to a statement by the General Security, the suspect is charged with making weapons available for terrorist groups in return for money.

After being interrogated by the police, the suspect was referred to court.

The statement said security forces are pursuing more four suspect’s partners.
