Delegates of the Syrian opposition to the Geneva talks have received invitations by the Swiss government to travel to the European country.

The Geneva III talks are set to start on January 29.

A source with the Syrian opposition told Russia Today that five representatives will be heading for Switzerland.

The five representatives will meet with UN envoy Staffan de Mistura to outline a final vision before the delegation sits to the negotiating table, the source said.
