A Takfiri was killed and 11 suspects were arrested in a crackdown in North Sinai, security sources said.

According to the sources, the crackdown targeted areas south of Arish and in Sheikh Zuweid and Rafah.

As part of the campaign, a number of terrorist hotbeds, which are used by terror groups as bases to carry out attacks against police and army forces, were destroyed, the sources said, adding that two explosive charges were also detonated.
