Security forces in North Sinai captured a tank filled with explosive materials while heading for Arish city.

A security source in North Sinai Security Directorate said the tank was laden with the highly explosive C4 material and was seized on board a truck while it has been checked at a security checkpoint in Beir Al Abad at the entrance of North Sinai.

The truck and the riders were seized and the prosecution was notified to launch a probe.
