Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el Tayyeb on Monday thanked Abdel Fattah El Sisi for Noor (Light) children magazine, issued by al Azhar to teach the children religious moderation.

In a statement, Tayyeb said that Sisi always supports the activities of Al Azhar.

Sisi has vowed to provide support needed for the nascent children's magazine.

"We need to reach out to our kids. I will back Noor magazine and we will make sure to provide it with necessary translations," the president said during a phone call with a TV show on Friday.
