Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el Tayyeb greeted on Thursday Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark Diocese on Easter.
In a statement, Tayyeb stressed that nobody will be able to break the unity of Muslims and Christians in Egypt.
As scheduled, Tayyeb is expected to visit the Coptic Orthodox Cathedral headquarters in Abbasiya during the coming two days to greet the Pope on Easter.
