The Third Field Army held a reception Monday to honor a number of South Sinai chieftains and tribes in appreciation of their national role in supporting the Armed Forces.
Commander of the Third Field Army Mohamed Abdellah hailed South Sinai chieftains for their efforts in securing Sinai in cooperation with the Armed Forces.
He added that the General Command of the Armed Forces is keen to give attention to Sinai citizens and overcome all obstacles they face in villages, hamlets and tribal communities in central and South Sinai as a part of the state's efforts to achieve a comprehensive development in Sinai.
Medical convoys were increased, while critical medical cases were treated at the military hospitals at the expense of the Armed Forces, Abdellah said.
The chieftains, for their part, hailed the national role played by the Armed Forces to solve the citizens' problems.
They also underlined close ties binding the Armed Forces and Sinai residents.
